titleOfInvention ARM ARRANGEMENT.
abstract Arm arrangement designed to move and position a first base part (6) relative to a second base part (4), comprising at least three arms (1, 2, 3, 7) which can be lengthened and shortened by in a controlled manner, said arms being free to pivot without fixings (5) on the second base part, while a fixing on the first base part is rigid, and one of said arms is torsionally rigid. A third base part (15) is connected to the first base part via a joint (16), and at least one auxiliary arm (12, 13) is, at one end connected to one of the arms ( 7) by means of a joint, while the other end of the auxiliary arm is connected to the third base part (15), and it is possible to vary the length of the auxiliary arm. An arm arrangement is thus obtained offering great freedom with regard to the movements of the third basic part, which carries a tool or a tool holder. In addition, the tool or the tool holder can be pivoted to allow rotation relative to the third base part (15).
