abstract | The invention relates to an isotopic separation device or mass analysis, by a magnetic field.n n n This device comprises, in a sealed enclosure (1), an ion source (2) of a mixture of isotopes, an accelerating grid (3) and a magnetic assembly (4) surrounding the enclosure for resonance cyclotronic of one of the isotopes of the mixture, a set (6) of collection of resonant ions and a collecting plate (8) of these ions. The magnetic assembly is in the form of a helix or successive rings.
