Phototherapy of skin wounds |
abstract |
A method and apparatus for exposing wounds to UV rays, the UVB component of which has generally been eliminated or attenuated. UV rays from a mercury vapor lamp (1) pass through a filter (2) and through a lens (3) which concentrates the rays on a target region (18). Said filter (2) is composed of a number of alternative layers of dielectric materials with different refractive indices. |
