abstract |
The invention relates to new pyrido [4,3-b] [1,6] naphthyridine derivatives of the general formula I <IMAGE> or their tautomeric forms of the general formulas Ia and Ib <IMAGE> in which R¹ is an unsubstituted or substituted aromatic or heteroaromatic ring or a condensed aromatic or heteroaromatic ring system, R² and R³ may be the same or different and denote hydrogen or a straight-chain or branched alkyl group having up to 4 carbon atoms, and optionally their pharmacologically acceptable salts. The compounds (I) can be prepared by condensation of dihydropyridine or naphthyridine derivatives with s-triazine and, if appropriate, subsequent alkylation and are used to combat vascular diseases. |
