abstract |
The invention is directed to monoclonal antibodies against IL-2 which have utility as affinity reagents for the purification of human and mouse IL-2 and as reagents for a sensitive two-site immunoassay. The invention is further directed to the use of the novel monoclonal antibodies of the invention as an affinity matrix to purify IL-2 and to the use of the monoclonal antibodies of the invention in a Two-site Sandwich Assay to quantify IL-2 in a biological sample, e.g. serum or plasma. |
