Composite hollow fiber usable in particular for removing water vapor from air or carbon dioxide. This composite fiber consists of: An asymmetric hollow fiber comprising a dense layer and a porous layer, a coating layer located on the dense layer of the asymmetric hollow fiber. This composite fiber has a higher permeability to water vapor than to air or carbon dioxide and has no selectivity for oxygen or nitrogen in the air. |
