abstract | The invention relates to novel gastrointestinal secretion-inhibiting and antidiarrheal active compounds of the general formula where n is an integer 1, 2, 3 or 4; R 1 represents hydrogen, nisderalkyl, halogen, trifluoromethyl, hydroxy or lower alkoxy; R 2 is hydrogen or lower alkyl; R 3 represents hydrogen, lower alkyl or halogen; R 4 amino, lower alkylamino, di-lower alkylamino, morpholino, N-lower alkyl or N-arylpiperazino, pyrrolidino, piperidino or substituted piperidino selected from wherein R s represents hydrogen, halogen or lower alkyl; and salts, and especially pharmaceutically acceptable salts of all of these compounds. You can, for example, by condensation of an amine of the formula III wherein R 4 has the meaning given above and H is bonded to the nitrogen atom of group R 4 , with a compound of formula IV wherein n, R 1 R 2 and R 3 have the meaning given under formula and X is a reactive esterified hydroxy group, are prepared. |
