abstract The invention relates to a novel grade of copolymers of tetramethyleneadipamide (nylon 4.6) and tetramethyleenterephtalamide (nylon 4.T) containing a mole fraction nylon 4.T up to 0.6 and having such a degree of orientation that the melting temperature shows little dependence on the composition of the copolymer and remains relatively low and which copolymer have good mechanical properties.
