titleOfInvention | CROSSLINKABLE POLYIMIDE COMPOUND. |
abstract | An improved process for preparing crosslinked polymers, wherein at least one alkyl or alicyclic substituent bonded to an aromatic radical in the polymer acts as a functional site allowing oxidative crosslinking. The polymer can be extruded or solvent deposited directly onto electrical conductors before crosslinking. The polymer film can then be crosslinked when exposed to an oxidizing agent and heated to a temperature in the range of the glass transition temperature of the polymer to a temperature just below its temperature of. degradation. |
