abstract |
The subject of the invention is a process for the production in the gas phase of chloropentafluoroethane by the action of hydrofluoric acid on dichlorotetrafluoroethane in the presence of a catalyst, said catalyst being prepared by reacting in the gas phase an alumina whose oxide content of sodium is less than 300 ppm and whose pore volume with a radius of 40 Angstroms and more is greater than 0.7 cm 3 / g with hydrofluoric acid or with a mixture of hydrofluoric acid and air, nitrogen or a fluorinated compound. |
