abstract A stabilized solution of a copolymer composed of an naminoalkyl acrylate unit or aminoalkyl methacrylate unit nand an ethylenically unsaturated monomer unit, which is nprepared by dissolving the copolymer in a mixed solvent ncontaining a ketone solvent in a ratio of about 20 to 80wt.% nto the total solvent weight. n The stabilized solution possesses highly improved stor­nage stability, thus standing long-term storage; it works well nfor paints, adhesives, primers, etc. n Its adhesive property to various substances is further nimproved by adding a coupling agent. In addition, a paint nfilm excellent in adhesion, water resistance, chemical re­nsistance, and weatherproofness can be obtained by using nboth the stabilized solution of the base copolymer and eith­ner a compound having at least 2 acryloyl groups in each mo­nlecule, a blocked polyisocyanate compound, or an epoxy ncompound as a hardener.
