titleOfInvention | PREPARATION OF MONOMERIC IgG |
abstract | A method for purifying an IgG-containing material comprises the following steps: (i) fractionating an immunoglobulin G-containing material on a microparticulate resin with high anion exchange having mesoporous and macroporous surfaces, and (ii) recovering by elution of a purified fraction of IgG contained in the resin. The method may also include eliminating calicrein-like esterase activity and other zymogenic or enzymatic protease activities from an IgG-containing material by the following steps: (i) contacting material containing IgG with a protein binding dye immobilized on a support in a mechanically stable macroporous gel, and (ii) recovering the material containing IgG devoid of enzymes and zymogens. The material containing the IgG can for example be a Cohn Fraction II in paste or powder form. |
