In addition to at least one perfluoroalkyl group, the new urethanes also contain epichlorohydring groups and dialcohol residues in the molecule. They are prepared by reacting a fluorine-containing alcohol with epichlorohydrin to give the perfluoroalkyl-epichlorohydrin adduct, by reacting this adduct with a di- or triisocyanate to give the perfluoroalkyl-epichlorohydrin-isocyanate adduct and by reacting this adduct with a dialcohol or a dialcohol etherified on one side desired urethanes with a perfluoroalkyl group and with epichlorohydring groups and dialcohol residues, and by reaction of a suitable such urethane compound with a di- or triisocyanate containing perfluoroalkyl groups to give the desired urethanes with several perfluoroalkyl groups and with epichlorohydrin groups and dialcohol residues. The new urethanes are preferably used for the oleophobic and hydrophobic finishing of textiles. |
