abstract A composition which is noncorroding to metals in contact therewith includes water, an alkylene glycol and/or a polyoxyalkylene glycol, a polyoxyalkylene amine and substantially no inorganic nitrite. The polyoxyalkylene amine replaces the previously used inorganic nitrite to reduce the toxicity of the non-­corroding composition.
