The invention relates to a device for automatic injection, in particular for the injection of insulin in the treatment of diabetes.n n n The core of the invention is given with a so-called sensor cannula. When a sensor cannula according to the invention is inserted under the skin, the body fluid causes an electrochemical influence on the sensor coating. Embodiments of the sensor cannula are proposed both as an active and as a passive component. In addition, a photometric sensor cannula is described.n n n The signal detected by the sensor cannula is sent to a computer for evaluation. The computer, in turn, controls a dosing unit which releases the calculated dose to a syringe barrel from a reservoir for injection.n n n The advantages of the invention can be seen in the fact that the injection of insulin can also be adapted to individual living habits, that the measurement of the glucose concentration and the injection of the required amount of insulin take place with only a single puncture, and that all further functional sequences are largely automatic. |
