A glass-like carbon material having an average thermal expansion coefficient between 60 x 10 -7 /°C and 110 x 10 -7 °C between 25°C and 400°C and a sliding part for a recording medium comprising the same. n The material is obtained by heat-pressurising at 1000 atmospheres or above a heat-treated thermo-setting resin and may be bonded to another material without causing internal strain. |
