The invention relates to a process for the preparation of electrically conductive polymers, according to which, in a first stage, aromatic compounds, which may optionally contain heterocyclic rings with O, S or N as a hetero atom, at 80 to 500 ° C. in a molar ratio of 1: 0.5 up to 100 with sulfur, a sulfur donating compound, selenium or mixtures thereof and in a second stage pyrolyzed the condensation products obtained at 500 to 2000 ° C and the electrically conductive polymers obtainable by this process. |
