titleOfInvention Organophosphorous compounds, process for preparing them and flame-retarded polymeric compositions by means of those compounds
abstract The organophosphorous compounds are chosen from: -(I) the sulphur deriviatives of hexahalocyclotriphosphazene of formula <IMAGE> in which 1 </= n </= 5, 1 </= m </= 4, R1 and R2 are chosen from the hydrogen atom and methyl and ethyl radicals, X is a halogen atom and A is chosen from the oxygen atom and the NH radical, and (II) the compounds of formula <IMAGE> in which 1 </= p </= 3, 1 </= m </= 4, R1 and R2 are chosen from the hydrogen atom and methyl and ethyl radicals, and: - either R3 is chosen from saturated hydrocarbon radicals containing from 1 to 6 carbon atoms, M is sulphur and A is oxygen, - or R3 is the methyl radical, M is chosen from sulphur and oxygen and A is chosen from oxygen and the NH radical. The flame-retarded polymeric composition according to the invention comprises at least one polymer obtained by polymerisation in the presence of at least one free radical initiator and of at least one such organophosphorous compound.
