abstract | Shellac is dissolved in a solvent chosen from the group consisting of a C1-C4 alcohol, a halogenated solvent and a mixture of the said alcohol and of the said halogenated solvent, the solution is filtered and the filtrate is separated to obtain a shellac wax which is treated so as to produce an emulsion or dispersion thereof which can be sprayed directly on to the plants to be treated. The composition obtained and its use are claimed. |
