abstract The invention relates to the new use of the compounds of the general formula <IMAGE> in which A and B together with the two carbon atoms in between are a methoxyphenyl, dimethoxyphenyl or pyridine ring, D is a nitrogen atom or a CH group, R1 is a hydrogen atom or a methyl group, R2 is a branched alkyl group with 3 to 6 carbon atoms or a straight-chain alkylene group with 2 or 3 carbon atoms, which is terminally substituted by a methoxyphenyl, dimthoxyphenyl or methylphenoxy group, and R3 represents a hydrogen atom or a methoxy group, their antipodes and their physiologically compatible acid addition salts inorganic or organic acids for the treatment and prophylaxis of thrombo-embolic diseases, for the prophylaxis of arteriosclerosis and for the prevention of metastases.
