abstract |
An improved quality quartz glass body and / or an improved quality product produced at high temperature in a quartz glass container is / are obtained by applying a polarization potential through the limited surfaces of the body or the glass container. quartz glass in order to cause the migration of impurity ions from one of said boundary surfaces.
