A method is described for the production of slides with one or more reaction fields surrounded by a hydrophobic surface coating, which are coated with affine substances for fixing the preparations to be examined, which is characterized in that (a) covers the areas of at least one surface of the slide, which correspond to the reaction fields to be formed, with a removable material that adheres to the surface, (b) the entire surface of the slide treated in this way is coated with a hydrophobic material, (c) exposing the reaction fields by removing the covering material and (d) the exposed reaction fields are coated with the substance affine for the preparations to be examined and the slides obtained. |
