titleOfInvention Acrylic polyols having low residual monomer content
abstract Acrylic polyols are provided which are prepared from a comonomer nmixture which contains a hydroxy-functional acrylate monomer, e.g. n2-hydroxyethyl methacrylate, and an ethylenically unsaturated compound nhaving an electron donating group, e.g. styrene, which have a low resiĀndual monomer content and a narrow molecular weight distribution. Also nprovided is a method of preparing such acrylic polyols, methods of npreparing polyurethane coatings from such acrylic polyols and the coatĀnings produced thereby.
