abstract |
For the production of pure α, ω-C 4 - to C 20 -alkenols with degrees of purity over 90% by dehydration of the corresponding α, ω-C 4 - to C 20 -diols, a catalyst is used, which can be obtained by using alkaline earth ortho-phosphate or alkaline earth hydrogen phosphate or by reacting an alkaline earth compound with phosphoric acid to give the corresponding phosphate and then adding an alkali or alkaline earth compound as a catalyst mass. This mass is deformed if necessary, then dried and calcined at temperatures of 350 to 950 ° C. The starting materials are dehydrated at temperatures from 300 to 500 ° C. selectively and partially to pure α, ω-C 4 to C 20 alkenols at conversions of over 90%. |
