According to the methods introduced in practice, it is not possible to dye wool at temperatures below 80 ° C. in medium and deep tones with reactive dyes, so that this results in satisfactory fastness properties of the dyeings produced in this way. However, in order to make such a dyeing process accessible for use in household washing machines, it must be possible to dye at an even lower temperature range. According to the invention, it has now been found that normal wool fiber material with reactive dyes with the addition of 4 to 10% of inorganic or organic acids, i.e. at pH values from 1.8 to 3.5, preferably from 2.4 to 3, at temperatures between 55 ° and 70 ° C, it does not matter and can be genuinely colored. |
