The present invention concerns quinoxaline derivatives nof the structural formula I: n nwherein the two substituents R on the phenyl ring are equal nor different and represents C₁-C₅ lower alkyl, and R₁ is a 6- or n7-position substituent selected from the group consisting of nhydrogen, halogen, lower alkyl, lower alkoxy and lower nalkanoyl. n Such compounds have been found useful in preventing nswine dysentery as well as being used as animal growth npromotants. |
