abstract | Effective treatment of hemorrhoids obtained by applying to the navel a non-toxic topical composition based on a terpene in a wetting environment of the skin. The preferred terpenes are camphor and menthol. The medium may be a liquid, a cream, an ointment, a jelly or any other suitable form, including sprayers and aerosol sprays. This composition is applied periodically to the patient's navel for a period of about one to two weeks. |
