The invention relates to the new substituted furazans of the formula (I) in which R 1 and R 2 are identical or different and represent hydrogen, halogen, alkyl, alkoxy, alkylthio, haloalkyl, haloalkoxy, haloalkylthio and optionally substituted aryloxy, or R 1 and R 2 together represent an optionally substituted alkylene radical which is interrupted by 1 or 2 oxygen atoms, R 3 and R 4 are the same or different and represent hydrogen, alkyl, alkoxy, haloalkyl or haloalkoxy and X represents oxygen or sulfur, which can be used as pesticides.
