| abstract | A pulley (1) is disclosed. The cable (2) is bearing around a rope pulley (3). In order to enable an engagement between the rope pulley (3) and the rope or cable (2) as with a chain wheel gearing, toothing units (6), at a certain spacing (A) from each other, are arranged at the periphery of the cable pulley (3), in its V-shaped annular groove (4). Said toothing units (6) present a plurality of teeth (7) which are skewed side to side and so configured that the whole toothing unit (6) produces, under the effect of a force, a locking form connection with the cable. This locking form connection may be produced by a ramp effect and due to this same ramp effect of the teeth (7), it may also be easily suppressed. |
