titleOfInvention | Catamaran-type air cushion vehicle |
abstract | A catamaran hovercraft has two floats (111) which extend in the direction of travel and are arranged parallel and at a distance from one another, the cross section of which widens from bottom to top and which are rigidly connected to one another at the top by a deck structure (113). Furthermore, elastic aprons (123, 124) are provided at the front and aft between the floats (111), which extend to at least approximately to the water surface and with the floats an air space (125) between the bottom of the deck structure (113) and the Limit the water surface. According to the invention, the floats (111) have an abruptly widened machine mounting attachment (112), essentially in the upper part of their displacement float area (115) immersed in the displacement travel, in whose upper end area the deck structure (113) is attached. |
