titleOfInvention Apparatus comprising a collection reservoir for body fluid
abstract An assembly (16) for inhibiting microbial growth in collectned body fluid includes a reservoir for collecting the fluid, and a ntablet (10, 26) in the reservoir, which tablet dissolves in the ncollected fluid to produce hydrogen peroxide in an amount nsufficient to inhibit microbial growth in the collected fluid. The ntablet is partially coated with an insoluble coating (14) which nleaves a portion of the tablet uncoated to provide a constant nsurface area exposed to the collected body fluid, which surface narea is of a size to provide sufficient hydrogen peroxide for inhinbition of microbial growth.
