titleOfInvention | NEW OCTAHYDROBENZO (f) QUINOLINE DERIVATIVES. |
abstract | Compounds corresponding to formulas (I), where C1 and N4 are in transconfiguration with respect to each other, Y represents OH, R1COO, R2R3NCOO- or R4O, R1 being an aliphatic hydrocarbon residue containing from 1 to 17 atoms carbon, phenyl, 2,6-dimethylphenyl or a 3- or 4-hydroxyphenyl group or a 3- or 4-alkanoyloxyphenyl group of formula (II), in which R5 is an alkyl group having from 1 to 6 carbon atoms, or R1 is a group represented by the formula (III), where R6 represents hydrogen, an alkyl group containing from 1 to 5 carbon atoms or a phenyl group, R7 represents hydrogen, a group alkyl having from 1 to 5 carbon atoms or an acyl group and R8 represents hydrogen or an alkyl group having from 1 to 5 carbon atoms, R2 represents hydrogen, an alkyl group having from 1 to 5 carbon atoms carbon, a phenetyl, benzyl or phenyl group which can be mono- or bisubstituted in its aromatic part with a g methyl group, metoxy, hydroxy, nitro or cyano or a halogen, R3 represents H, an alkyl group containing from 1 to 5 carbon atoms or a phenyl group, or R2 and R3, in combination with the nitrogen atom form a ring with 5.6 or 7 members which may contain from 1 to 3 double bonds and / or 1 or 2 additional hetero atoms selected from N, O and S, and R4 represents an allyl or benzyl group and R represents hydrogen or the group (IV), where n is 3 or 4 and R9 represents hydrogen, an alkanoyl group containing from 2 to 6 carbon atoms or benzoyl. These products are used as bases, as well as their pharmaceutically acceptable acid addition salts. Their methods of preparation are also described, as are pharmaceutical preparations and methods of treatment using such compounds. These are useful in the treatment of disorders of the central nervous system. |
