Toothpastes with a content of 15-30% by weight of a polishing agent combination of silicic acid polishing agents and aluminum oxide polishing agents result in a good cleaning of the tooth surface with little abrasiveness and scratching effect if a silicic acid polishing agent (A) is a gel silicic acid and / or a precipitated silicic acid and a weakly calcined alumina consisting of 10-50% by weight of gamma-aluminum oxide and 50-90% by weight of alpha-aluminum oxide is contained as aluminum oxide polishing agent (B) and the two polishing agent components in the weight ratio A: B = 100 :( 2-15) are included. A weakly calcined alumina with a content of approximately 20% by weight of gamma-aluminum oxide and approximately 80% by weight of alpha-aluminum oxide with an agglomerate size of less than 20 μm and an average primary crystal size of 0.5-1.5 μm is preferred used. |
