The invention relates to a new separating material for thin-layer chromatography based on carrier materials coated with sorbents, consisting essentially of a silica gel layer which has been surface-modified after coating by silanizing agent, which is characterized in that the degree of coverage can be defined and adjusted in a controllable manner from 0.15 to 0 , 8 µmol / m 2 for reversed-phase materials and 1.2 to 2.5 µmol / m 2 for hydrophilic materials, as well as a process for producing these separating materials. |
