abstract | The present invention provides aminopyrazolinones of the general formula: <IMAGE> wherein R1, R2 and R3, which can be the same or different, are straight-chained or branched alkyl radicals containing up to 6 carbon atoms and together containing at most 8 carbon atoms. The present invention also provides a process for the preparation of these new aminopyrazolinones and reagents containing them. In addition, the present invention is concerned with the use of these new aminopyrazolinones as a color coupler for the detection of hydrogen peroxide. |
