titleOfInvention | Water-to-water heat pump |
abstract | Disclosed is a water-water heat pump, with a refrigerant evaporator which, in a jacket tube (5), has at least one annular space (2) formed by an inner tube (1) and a center tube (3) and between the center tube (3) and the Jacket tube (5) has a flow space (4). The annular space (2) is filled with a gas under pressure. The inner tube (1) is designed to guide water and the flow space (4) to guide the refrigerant or vice versa. In order to be able to detect a risk of water entering the refrigerant at an early stage, a signal transmitter (7) is provided which responds when gas leaks from the annular space (1 or 3) due to a leak in the pipe (1 or 3) in which the water is exposed ( 2) leaks into the water. The signal transmitter (7) responds long before water that has penetrated into the annular space (2) can cause the pipe wall that separates the water that has penetrated into the annular space (2) to leak from the refrigerant. The signal emanating from the signal generator (7) can be used for the acoustic or optical display of the prevailing operating state or for switching off the heat pump. |
