titleOfInvention Hydrophone
abstract The miniature hydrophone contains a piezoelectric film as the base body (2) with a linear arrangement of a plurality of receiving elements (10). According to the invention, the electrodes (5) of one of the flat sides are arranged on a cover surface (15) of the carrier (16) and capacitively coupled to the base body (2) by means of an adhesive layer (6). An amplifier (32) is assigned to each of the receiving elements (10), which are attached to a side surface of a carrier (16) with leads (11, 26 and 12, 27) of equal length. The electrical line connection between the receiving element (10) and the associated amplifier (32) takes place in a groove (24). Several such modules can form a structural unit in a row arrangement with the same pitch of the receiving elements (10). Since all feed lines (11, 26; 12, 27) to the amplifiers (32, 36) are very short and of the same length, the sensitivity of the system consisting of the receiving element (10) and amplifier (32 or 36) is homogeneous and very high.
