abstract |
A new process for the isolation of aromatic monoamines in pure or enriched form as a solution in a hydrophobic solvent or, in at least partially protonated form, as an aqueous solution from an amine mixture containing at least two different aromatic monoamines, in which the starting mixture is obtained in a first step distributed in a two-phase system consisting of a hydrophobic solvent phase and an aqueous acid phase with thorough mixing of the phases and the resulting phases are isolated after their separation and, if appropriate, the solvent phase is extracted again with an aqueous phase or the aqueous phase is extracted again with a solvent phase in a second operation and work through the phases involved. |
