abstract |
A photosensitive recording material for the production of planographic printing plates is described, which consists of a support and a negative-working photosensitive layer, which as a photosensitive compound is a diazonium salt polycondensation product and furthermore a colorless, inorganic pigment insoluble in water and organic solvents with an average particle diameter of Contains 1-20 µm in an amount of 0.01-2% by weight, based on the non-volatile components of the layer, in a uniform distribution. The pigment content causes the formation of a rough layer surface, which shortens the vacuum application time in the copy frame. The presence of the pigment in the layer also results in better tonal value reproduction in the print. |
