@ The invention relates to a method and an apparatus for cleaning exhaust gases which are loaded with nitrogen oxide, sulfur dioxide and dust. To clean the exhaust gas, a plurality of locally delimited, separate discharge zones or a plasma are formed, through which the exhaust gas (10) to be cleaned is passed. A reactor (1) which has two electrodes (2 and 3) is used to carry out the method, the first electrode (2) being connected to a current source (5) and the second electrode being connected to ground. The two electrodes are arranged at a defined distance parallel to one another and cover the entire area. The first electrode (2) has a layer made of a dielectric material (4) on its side facing the second electrode (3). |
