The invention relates to new 5-haloalkyl-1,3,4-thiadiazol-2-yloxyacetamides of the general formula (I), in which R 1 represents haloalkyl other than trifluoromethyl and R 2 and R 3 independently of one another represent hydrogen, alkyl, alkenyl, alkynyl, any optionally substituted cycloalkyl or cycloalkenyl, haloalkyl, alkoxyalkyl, alkoxyalkyleneoxy or alkoxy, aralkyl or optionally substituted aryl or R 2 and R 3 together with the nitrogen atom to which they are attached represent an optionally substituted saturated or unsaturated heterocycle which may contain further heteroatoms, several processes for their preparation and their use as herbicides and / or fungicides.
