Die neuen Verbindungen besitzen wertvolle insektizide und larvizide Eigenschaften und können als Wirkstoffe zur Bekämpfung von pflanzen- und tierparasitären insekten, insbesondere von deren Larven, darunter vor allem von Ektoparasiten, eingesetzt werden. New substituted acylamino-s-triazine compounds of the formula: in which RC 1 -C 4 alkyl, R, hydrogen or C 2 -C 12 acyl optionally substituted by halogen or C 1 -C 4 alkoxy and R 2 optionally substituted by halogen or C 1 -C 4 alkoxy C 2 -C 12 -acyl, including their salts. The new compounds have valuable insecticidal and larvicidal properties and can be used as active compounds for controlling plant and animal parasitic insects, in particular their larvae, including above all ectoparasites.
