titleOfInvention | Process for producing vinyl chloride polymers |
abstract | a) einem Alkalimetall- oder Ammoniumsalz einer Fettsäure, einer Alkylsulfonsäure, einer Alkylarylsulfonsäure oder eines Sulfobernsteinsäureesters, b) einem C 12 -C 20 -Alkanol, c) Wasser, sowie gegebenenfalls d) einem monomerlöslichen Katalysator, is the production of pastable polymers of vinyl chloride by batch polymerization in the presence of a predispersion a) an alkali metal or ammonium salt of a fatty acid, an alkylsulfonic acid, an alkylarylsulfonic acid or a sulfosuccinic acid ester, b) a C 12 -C 20 alkanol, c) water, and optionally d) a monomer-soluble catalyst, n n n wherein the predispersion is only prepared with 30 to 80 percent by weight of the total amount of emulsifier (amount of surfactant), while the remainder of the emulsifier or an ingredient forming the emulsifier is added batchwise or continuously to the polymerization mixture as an aqueous solution after conversion of 10 to 60 percent by weight. The polymers obtained lead to pastes of particularly low viscosity even under high shear stress and result in open-cell soft foams with good resilience. |
