titleOfInvention Dental articulator
abstract It includes an upper jaw support (14) and a lower jaw support (47). The lower support comprises a moving part (27) on a rack (24) supporting an arm (31) slidably mounted vertically on the moving part (27) with a limited stroke for its vertical displacement on the moving part (27). The arm 31 carries two crossed orthogonal slides (41, 42). The upper slide (42) carries a table (47) mounted on a spherical ball joint. The articulator allows precise recording and precise reproduction of the occlusal position of the maxilla and the closure of the mandible without trying to reproduce the condylar joints.
