titleOfInvention | Process for activating substrates for electroless plating |
abstract | A gentle and inexpensive method for activating surfaces for electroless metallization consists in wetting the surfaces with an activating solution which converts a silver I compound which is sparingly soluble in water with the aid of complexing agents (eg NH 3 ) (eg AgCl) contains, cleaves the soluble complex compound back into the poorly soluble compound and reduces the silver I compound remaining on the surface. |
