| abstract | Portable device for collecting blood and other somatic fluids, comprising a catheter, a pump (3) and a storage container (8) for the collected somatic fluid. The object of the present invention is to provide an apparatus for collecting somatic fluids from human and animal patients in such a way that the drawing of blood can be repeated at any time without the patient needing around him a person to operate the sampling device. The present invention is characterized in that the control installation (12) can be actuated by a remote control (13, 14, 15), that reservoirs (8) are provided for the somatic liquid withdrawn, reservoirs in which several samples of somatic liquids can be stored, that a flushing and filling installation (9, 10) is provided for the pump (3), the catheter and the system of pipes (4, 6) going from the pump to the reservoir ( 8, 23), that a valve (7, 20) or a valve system for the passage of the somatic liquid withdrawn and of the rinsing and filling liquid for the pipe system (4, 6) is located before the tank and that a control installation (12) is provided for actuating the pump (3), the rinsing and filling installation (9, 10) and the valve (7, 20), respectively of the valve. |
