titleOfInvention Processing of lignocellulose materials
abstract Lignocellulose-containing materials are chemically converted to a form suitable for ruminant feeding by impregnating the materials with dilute acid, storing the impregnated material at ambient temperature and pressure in a low acid environment to perform a slight hydrolysis of the materials, drying the acidified materials and partially neutralizing the dry materials with ammonia.
