abstract |
A process for forming an image by imagewise forming a mobile dye by heating in a substantially waterfree condition and transferring the dye into a dye fixing layer using water. The amount of water used to transfer the dye is within the range from 0.1 time the total weight of all coatings to the difference obtained by subtracting the total weight of all coatings from the weight of water corresponding to the maximum swollen volume of all coatings. |
