titleOfInvention | Method for the manufacture of the mantle portion of a cistern |
abstract | Method of manufacturing the envelope (1) of a tank made of reinforced plastic material. All the processes of the prior art are characterized in that the envelope (1) is constructed around an interior mold which rotates around a horizontal axis as the resin and the reinforcing material are applied. . The object of the present invention is to provide a method according to which the internal mold can be eliminated by cutting the prefabricated internal layer in a rectangular shape whose dimensions correspond to the desired length of the envelope and preferably to its total circumference, which layer forms a face of the substantially cylindrical vertical envelope, while the two opposite edges of the layer are joined by the reinforcing material and the resin, after which several support rings (3) are inserted in the cylinder so as to provide support during subsequent rolling carried out in a conventional manner. |
