abstract Disposable smoking devices used in a variety of configurations of pipes (2), cigarettes or cigars and provided to eliminate completely the inhalation by the smoker of toxic substances contained in tobacco smoke. This is provided by maintaining the air admission channel (14, 26) separated from the combustion chamber by a refractory but heat-conductive wall (4, 24) and by depositing on the side (14, 31, 32) of the channel of said wall nicotine and other tobacco simulating substances, in volatile or sublimable form, of which only the vapors are inhaled, thereby giving the smoker the same feelings as a pipe, a cigar or a cigarette of a common type, but without the noxious effect inherent to the absorption of tobacco smoke. The air admission channel (13, 26, 46, 53) may be arranged either at the center of the combustion chamber or on the periphery thereof.
